Mortars and Ammunition
Soltam Systems designs and manufactures a wide range of mortars with calibers ranging from 60, 81, 120mm. Soltam Systems offer mortar systems with all auxiliary equipment necessary for field operation, including fire control computers, laying systems, INS and target acquisition systems. The top of the line product is the world renowned CARDOM. A 120mm autonomous self-propelled recoiling mortar mounted on a tracked or wheeled vehicle which offers significant advantages in fast deployment, accuracy, area coverage, tactical mobility flexibility and survivability. The CARDOM contains state of the art navigation, command control and communication devices, offering the infantry and mortar commander unique pocket Artillery for enhancing operational capabilities of quick response time and automatic laying features.
Manufacturing a wide range of mortar ammunition, Soltam Systems provides its customers with high quality and reliable products. High Explosive, WP, Smoke, Training and Illumination Bombs are available in calibers 60, 81, 120mm, equipped with point detonating, proximity and electronic fuses.
Artillery
Soltam Systems artillery systems are equipped with fire control computers, muzzle velocity radars, inertial navigation and target acquisition systems. In order to meet customer requirements Soltam Systems offers Artillery pieces that are self propelled truck mounted, towed or independently propelled by an auxiliary power unit (APU) for self maneuvering. Soltam provides the customer with training at all levels.
