M-114S 155mm

The M-114S is a hybrid of a 155 mm 33 caliber cannon assembly (comprising of a new 155 mm barrel and muzzle brake integrated with the original M114 breech mechanism) mounted on the proven under carriage and recoil systems of the 155 mm M114 field gun in service today.

Soltam Systems upgrade kit is designed to increase its firing range with advanced ammunition allowing an extended  range of 22.5 km  with the ERFB/BB projectile – 54% increase in range comparing to the original M114.

With conventional projectiles an extended range of 19 km - 30% increase in range is possible
